Financial Analyst
Welcome to AFS! We are a non-banking financial institution active in Romania for the past 17 years, dedicated to providing alternative financing to small and medium-sized enterprises. We specialize in factoring and short-term lending, but we can offer most types of financing depending on our clients’ needs.

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing credit/financing documentation
- Responsible for the financial analysis of clients applying for financing within approved facilities
- Responsible for analyzing credit operations from a risk perspective
- Providing support to Relationship Managers / Portfolio Managers regarding financing proposals
- Ongoing monitoring of financing contracts together with the back-office department
- Contributing to the preparation of credit files, based on received requests, in compliance with applicable legal regulations, internal policies, and approval procedures
- Monitoring contract performance, repayment of financing, and associated costs according to agreed deadlines
- Handling client requests, identifying and analyzing key risks, and proposing mitigation solutions
- Contacting clients to carry out necessary operations related to financing
- Contacting overdue clients for debt recovery purposes
- Answering phone calls and advising existing clients based on internal procedures
- Managing contracts within internal IT systems used for credit analysis and monitoring
- Preparing various reports related to lending activity upon request
Requirements
Education
: University graduate, preferably in finance or banking.
Experience
: At least 2 years of experience in lending activities (analysis/ credit risk/ financing operations), preferably within a financial institution or bank
Skills
: Knowledge of the SME sector (business/financial), legislation, financial products, and services Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational, planning, and attention to detail skills Good PC skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure Team-oriented mindset
Foreign Languages
: Good command of English
